What is this?


Anyone have any idea?

 It looks a bit art-deco, almost, like something from 1930s central Europe--found on an enduring if dirty building on our hotel's street.

    It reminds me of the styles of fascist europe. Did fascist dictatorships borrow styles from India? Did you know that the swástica was a hindú symbol of peace long before the nazis adopted it?
